PULPECTOMY

Pulpectomies are a form of endodontic therapy that is used to treat teeth with infected dental pulp when root canal therapy is not needed for the entire tooth. Specifically designed for situations where prompt relief is essential, a pulpectomy initiates the root canal process, addressing infected dental pulp without requiring the completion of the entire root canal treatment in a single visit.

During this procedure, we remove the compromised pulp or soft tissue from the affected tooth and replace it with a protective material. The focus is on efficiently alleviating pain and discomfort. While a dental crown may not be immediately placed at the conclusion of the procedure, this approach allows for a quicker visit compared to a full root canal treatment.
