We also use oral bone grafting when a patient has had a tooth removed and bone loss has occurred in the area. Grafting can restore the jawbone to provide additional support for adjacent teeth, and create enough support in the bone so that new dental implants can be placed. Additionally, if gum disease has caused significant destruction of the jawbone, oral bone grafting can add new material to help rebuild it.

Jaw Bone Grafting Procedure
